Pulling from a transitional style, I used pieces that fit a transitional style and complemented current furniture items. To do this I stayed in the chosen color palette going with neutrals, blues, and gold accents. As you can see throughout the room, the colors are balanced and polish off the space. Another key element to the design is symmetry. Symmetry creates balance, and balance in design creates harmony, order, and aesthetically pleasing results. Staying simple with the colors and adding in the harmony of symmetry, makes it a space that can be enjoyed relaxing or visiting with friends and family.
