norwood academy

The academic design of Norwood Academy for Higher Learning was based off of a lighthouse and how the purpose is to light the way, preparing the students to be leaders in thier lives. Located in East Greenwhich, Rhode Island the shore at sunset with the colors of navy blue and a burnt orange, as well as taking in the stones and woods with the lighthouse was the inspiration and driving concept behind the design. The school is based of an axis just as the idea of the lighthouse has an axis and incorporates the same curvilinear features.
